Bob Simpson serves as the Earned Value Management (EVM) Specialist for BreitIdeas, Inc. Mr. Simpson retired from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation with over 20 years of tenure as the EVM manager and corporate performance management focal point. Bob received a Bachelor degree in Engineering Mechanics from Pennsylvania Military College (Widener University). In addition, Bob has completed coursework at Hofstra University in the area of Business Management. Mr. Simpson has had a significant impact on the Performance Management community most notably by serving as the 2002 Industry Co-Chairperson for the annual Project Management Institute’s College of Performance Management, International Performance Management Workshop in Tysons Corners, Virginia. Bob has also participated in several NDIA Working Groups which resulted in development of the EVMS Industry Standard and the IBR Program Managers Guide.

Mr. Simpson brings tremendous know how gained from his years of experience at Northrop Grumman. His breadth of knowledge was developed on numerous major program implementations in space, aircraft and electronics development and production contracts with the Army, Navy, Air Force and NASA. Bob is a seasoned veteran in all things EVMS with a knowledge base that supports our clients with unrivaled support in the area of project management and performance measurement.
